To Wildacres from Marion, N.C. 
Go north on Hwy. 226-221, 6.3 miles from the Hwy. 70 intersection (Wal-Mart is on the left). Take a left on Hwy. 226 toward Spruce Pine. (This intersection has a traffic signal.) Go 1.1 miles to the intersection of Hwy. 226 and 226A and go straight on 226A. Take this road 6.5 miles to the Wildacres sign at Wildacres Road on the left. Take this gravel road 1.1 miles to a paved drive on the right leading to Wildacres.

To Wildacres from Spruce Pine, N.C.
Go south on Hwy. 226 to the Blue Ridge Parkway (across the Tourist Info center). Take a right on the Blue Ridge Parkway toward Ashville. Pass Little Switzerland till you come to the sign Gooch Gap (after Marker 336). Take a left and then a right onto the gravel road drive to the paved drive on the left leading to Wildacres.
